"Our family had a wonderful time at our daughter's 4th birthday party at ArtWorks. We were looking for something different from the typical birthday party. The kids really enjoyed the hands-on clay project and tile painting, and the parents enjoyed getting involved as well. Molly was organized and energetic and everything went smoothly! The room was quite large and the kids even got to play outside. Also, Molly mounted the painted tiles into a frame that now hangs in our playroom--a great reminder of a fun birthday party! The kids were all smiles when we delivered the glazed pots that they had decorated themselves. We still get compliments from friends and family about what a great party it was!"
"ArtWorks has been a perfect after school fit for our daughter. The
program offers so many opportunities to explore different media in
creative and interesting ways...and Molly infuses each unit with art
history and theory in a way that "sticks." On a visit to the Raleigh art
museum after the first few months of ArtWorks, my daughter showed me the
use of chiaroscuro (Italian for light-dark) in one of the paintings. The
ArtWorks "[student] shows" that are held each quarter allow our budding artists, family and friends to enjoy the talents that are developing under the
watchful eye of Molly and Kristen. I just hope that by the time my
daughter is in middle school, their programs will have expanded for
older kids!"
"We all have stand-out moments in life that stay special in our memory because of
the event, the people, the place or a combination of all of these. My Baby Shower at the the ArtWorks for Everyone Studio was one of my special moments. It was a wonderful chance to laugh and chat with girlfriends while creating something beautiful and unique (we each painted tile for a tray for the new baby). Now that I am absorbed in the busy life with a new infant, I really cherish the memory of the girl time I had with my friends that afternoon. The art studio was the ideal place and activity for my Baby Shower and I am already planning go back when it is time to celebrate the next baby in my group of girlfriends."
